Job Description
15 years of experience in cloud transformational and consulting project migrations. The purpose of this role is to manage large-scale cloud transformation and migration projects within the cloud practice.
The candidate should demonstrate dynamism, commitment, and proficiency in preparing, tracking, and managing project schedules. Extensive experience in project and program management, particularly in cloud transformation migrations and consulting projects, is essential.
Primary Skills
Proven expertise in executing large-scale Cloud Migrations, Integrations, and Transformations
Demonstrated ability to drive major IT projects, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, set timelines, hold stakeholders accountable, and deliver projects on time and within budget
Proficient in Cloud technologies and experienced in migrating data centers to Cloud
Adept at planning and managing multiple stakeholders including clients, offshore teams, and cross-functional teams to achieve the required transformations
Solid understanding of infrastructure virtualization, cloud technologies, compute, storage, and networking
Secondary Skills
Strong communication skills with effective and efficient stakeholder management
Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Experience working under tight deadlines and handling escalations
Ability to manage governance, collate project statuses, and report at regular intervals to leadership teams
Conduct weekly cadence on project/program reviews and report to internal stakeholders
Track and report schedule and cost variances across projects
Identify issues/risks and track them until closure or mitigation/resolution in all cloud transformation projects
Certifications Preferred
Agile Management
PRINCE2/PMP
Any other program management certifications
Key Technology Knowledge Preferred
Familiarity with project management tools such as ADO, Azure Cloud, database, networking, virtualization, public cloud, etc.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field
