Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced OSS/DB Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to design and implement scalable OSS platforms and cloud-native database solutions. The ideal candidate will lead architecture for high-performance, secure, and highly available systems supporting telecom/network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect OSS solutions on Azure for fault, performance, and service management.
Define and implement cloud-native database architectures using Azure services.
Lead end-to-end solution design, including data modeling, integration, and system workflows.
Architect and implement Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL/MySQL.
Design data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Event Hub.
Ensure high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and backup strategies using Azure-native capabilities.
Optimize database performance, scalability, and cost in Azure environments.
Implement security and governance using Azure AD, RBAC, and encryption mechanisms.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Provide technical leadership and establish best practices for cloud architecture.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in OSS architecture (telecom preferred)
Deep expertise in Azure cloud platform
Hands-on with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL/MySQL (Azure)
Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and performance tuning
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Logic Apps
Knowledge of microservices and API-based architecture
Experience with Linux/Unix environments
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and containerization (Docker)
Knowledge of big data tools (Azure Synapse, Databricks)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana)
Understanding of telecom frameworks (TM Forum, eTOM)
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates)
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
